Gerardo Rocha

Born and raised in Chile, Gerardo is co-founder of ASSE, and founder of Team AngelicvM, besides being its second team leader between the years 2012 and 2014. He strongly believes in the idea that you can find an economic solution to space travel, by a combination of commercial efforts, scientific research, development objectives and perseverance in projects with large-scale challenges under strong convictions. Currently he is the president of Angelicvm, the main company that supports the participation of the team in our space endeavors.


Mauricio Guerrero

Mauricio is a 6 time Grammy Award winning producer/engineer. A Chilean native who moved to Los Angeles, California in early 1988, he’s been involved in countless music productions ranging from Phil Collins, Beyoncé, Shakira, Gloria Estefan and Plácido Domingo among others. In 2012, Mauricio was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree by the prestigious Shepherd University in Los Angeles, California. Currently, he is the head of the Production and Recording Arts Department at said University. Based on his spiritual beliefs and convictions, Mauricio wants to leave a legacy of faith, hope, peace, and unity to the coming generations. For that reason, he joined Team Angelicvm, and he is focused on putting together a team of young and talented people that are actively working towards a better future for our hurting world.

Andrea Rusca

Andrea E. Rusca is a Swiss and Italian national. He grew up in Lugano, studied law in Neuchâtel and, after his lawyer training period in Geneva, was admitted to the Geneva Bar in May 1995. Thereafter, he studied in Washington DC where he obtained an LL.M. “with distinction” from Georgetown University Law Center in 1997. While working in Washington DC, he prepared the bar exams and was admitted to the New York Bar in 1998.

Andrea acquired solid legal competencies with various international law firms in Geneva, Paris and Washington DC, two international arbitration organizations: The World Bank – International Centre for the Settlement of International Disputes (ICSID) in Washington DC and the Secretariat of the ICC Arbitration Court in Paris as well as multinational companies in Switzerland and Italy.


Paul Sutin

Paul Sutin, Swiss/English Music and TV producer and recording specialist. He has written and arranged over 100 songs and sound tracks over 35 years. Sutin created his first studio and mobile recording facility in 1986, and by 2004 he founded a world-class “Hi-Resolution” recording studio and entertainment center, which is now known as “Legend Studios”, in Gland, Switzerland. Today Paul Sutin has combined all of these activities in the Legend Foundation that brings together the world of performing arts with philanthropy and social responsibility.

Maurizio Cheli

Maurizio is an Italian Air Force officer, a European Space Agency astronaut, and a veteran of one NASA space shuttle mission. A native of Modena, Maurizio attended the Italian Air Force Academy and trained as a test pilot at the Empire Test Pilots’ School, England, being awarded the McKenna Trophy as the best student on his course. He studied geophysics at the University of Rome La Sapienza and earned a master’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Houston. He then trained with the United States Air Force and was selected as an astronaut candidate by the European Space Agency in 1992. He holds the rank of lieutenant colonel in the Italian Air Force. He flew aboard STS-75 in 1996 as a mission specialist. That same year he joined Alenia Aeronautica, and two years later he became Chief Test Pilot for combat aircraft. His last test program was for the Eurofighter Typhoon. Maurizio Cheli has more than 380 hours of space activity and more than 4500 flying hours on more than 50 different aircraft types. He is married to fellow former ESA astronaut Marianne Merchez.


Maher Ezzeddine

Maher Ezzeddine is the Chief Executive Director of Ideanco, a strategy consultancy firm based in Abu Dhabi, New York, Beirut and Paris. Ideanco is focusing on providing strategy consultancy targeting both private and public sectors with special highlight on aerospace and renewable energy.
Nearly two decades of entrepreneurial achievement and success by driving multimillion-dollar revenue growth while designing and executing corporate strategies, strategic marketing and leadership in highly competitive regional and global market. Maher Ezzeddine who is Harvard Business School Alumni, has been involved in consulting Aerospace and satellites projects for over a decade, which has evolved his exploration and exploitation from regional to global level.
Maher is also the President of Harvard Business School Aerospace Alumni Group, a global association focusing on Aerospace. With its head office in Washington, DC, the aerospace association is also operational in Paris, Abu Dhabi and Singapore catering towards the aerospace industry.

Justin Karl

Justin Karl is a faculty member at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, USA, where he instructs Space Environment, Astrodynamics, Payload Integration and Instrumentation, and Aerospace Vehicle Design to upper level undergraduate and graduate students. Outside of academia, Dr. Karl is a Senior Associate of the Space Studies Institute, the Chief Payload Officer for the nonprofit Citizens in Space initiative, and Director of Terran Sciences Group. Through his small R&D company, nonprofit, and research ties, Dr. Karl provides technical solutions to the growing private space industry, while engaging in outreach and mentoring activities that help expand opportunities for universities and small space programs in the early stages of development.


Ron Banks

Ron Banks is a marketing professional and educator based in Geneva, Switzerland. He holds a BA in marketing from Southwest Missouri State University and a MBA from City University. Ron has worked in the fast moving consumer goods sector in the US and in Europe, has done international marketing consulting in a variety of industries and is a founding partner of three companies, based in Geneva, Switzerland. In addition, Ron is an adjunct professor of marketing at a US university in Geneva. Ron is also active in the American community in Geneva and is currently the President of the American International Club of Geneva. Plus he also serves as the Vice Executive Director for American Citizens Abroad Inc and is he is on the Board of Directors of the American Citizens Abroad Global Foundation.

Pablo Alarcón

Born and raised in Chile, he is an Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineer from the University of Concepción in Chile, and holds a MSc in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Liège in Belgium. He has been focused on developing cheap and accessible technology and space applications for public and private institutions on early stage of development. He has experience in studying and developing small satellites on the frame of the QB50 project, working in conjunction with the University of Liège and the Von Karman Institute in Belgium. Within their convictions, he holds that is possible bring closer the aerospace industry, his research, development and benefits to the community in general.
